Eva is a seasoned advocate with a distinguished career spanning both the public and private sectors, specializing in regulatory compliance. With notable achievements and leadership roles throughout her career, she has demonstrated expertise in navigating complex regulatory landscapes and driving impactful reforms.

During her tenure at Standard Chartered Bank Limited from 2004 to 2011, Eva held progressively influential positions within the legal and regulatory compliance domain.

Eva spearheaded the Financial Crime Risk/Anti Money Laundering division for the bank’s East Africa Business, where she implemented robust frameworks to mitigate financial risks and uphold anti-money laundering standards.

Transitioning to the public sector, Eva served as a Director at the Uganda Registration Service Bureau, where she played a pivotal role in orchestrating transformative business reforms aimed at enhancing service delivery. Her strategic vision and leadership contributed to the modernization of registration processes, fostering efficiency and transparency within the bureau. Eva’s tenure was marked by her involvement in key initiatives, including membership in the United Nations Joint Population Program and the Steering Committee of the National Security and Information System which culminated into the National Identity Card mass registration exercise. These engagements underscore her commitment to driving impactful change on both national and international fronts.

Eva’s influence extends beyond her direct roles, as evidenced by her frequent participation as a guest speaker at international events. Through her engagements, she fosters collaborative synergies between government entities, international development partners, and various stakeholders.
